The proceedings of the 2nd Arab Greek Economic Forum
(November 19-20) in Athens – organised by the Arab Hellenic Chamber of Commerce and Development - conclude today. The forum aims at developing and promoting economic relations between Greece and the Arab world by enhancing corporate relations and tracing investment opportunities. Participants are invited from the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, Libya, United Arab Emirates, Syria, Morocco, Kuwait, Yemen, Jordan, Iraq and Egypt.
Foreign Minister Dora Bakoyannis delivered the opening speech yesterday, while Deputy Foreign Minister Petros Doukas met with Syria’s Deputy Prime Minister for Economic Affairs, during a working lunch, which was attended by a Greek business delegation.
